The on-time guarantee
On time, or you stop paying.
You should know when your bookkeeping will be done. During onboarding, we agree on deadlines for each of your covered services based on your business and the work involved.
If we miss one of those deadlines for reasons within our control, you stop paying for that service until we have brought it up to date.
How it works
- 01
Your deadlines are built around your business
During onboarding, we look at the timing of each service and agree on completion dates that make sense for your business.
- 02
You send what we agreed, when we agreed
Statements, answers, system access and anything else we need to do the work. If something is missing, the deadline for that service pauses until we have what we need.
- 03
We finish the work by the agreed date
Each covered service has its own deadline, whether it is monthly bookkeeping, payroll, GST, onboarding or catch-up work.
- 04
If we are late, you stop paying
If we miss the deadline for reasons within our control, you are not charged for that service again until we have caught it up. Other services that are on time are billed as usual.
The guarantee runs both ways
The guarantee runs on both sides. It applies while your side of the schedule is met. If we are waiting for information, answers or access needed to complete a service, the clock pauses until we have what we need.
This is not fine print designed to get us out of the guarantee. The schedule only works when both sides know what is expected and when. We agree on those responsibilities during onboarding, so there should be no surprises.
Your obligations, in full
- Bank and credit card statements provided by the agreed date
- Questions answered so work is not left waiting
- Access to the systems we need to do the work
The specific information, access requirements and deadlines for each service are confirmed during onboarding and documented in your On-Time Guarantee Agreement.
Ask us to put a date on it
On a discovery call, we can talk through your services, timing and how the On-Time Guarantee would apply to your business.
